Annual events

There’s always something fun happening in Downtown Mountain View from the weekly Farmers Market on Sundays to the Thursday night summer concert series in July and August. Each spring, the community comes out to celebrate Family Parade with floats and crafts. In September the Arts & Wine Festival, the largest of its kind in the US, sets up for two days of sipping and browsing. During the holiday season, get into the spirit with an annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and open house at local shops to get all of your Christmas shopping done.

When you’re short on time, Mountain View has plenty of options to help fill you up. For a California-style burrito, go to Taqueria La Bamba where you can eat in or take it to go. Posh Bagels offers different options from cream cheese to sandwich fillings, while Crepevine makes a variety of gourmet crepes. Steak Out is the perfect spot to grab a burger. There’s even a sunny beer garden to enjoy a cold brew.
